Aims & Scope

The journal publishes work at the intersection of biological and physical sciences in the rapidly advancing field of digital health with a strong emphasis on technology developments which impact healthcare. Papers published will have a strong technological component and will cover: Medical Devices, Healthcare Information Management, Bioinformatics, Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Engineering, Regenerative Medicine, Neural Engineering and Precision Medicine.

The targeted readership of the journal include anyone involved in research or practical applications of the above-mentioned subject fields.

IntechOpen is a member of COPE and Digital Medicine and Healthcare Technology journal adheres to all COPE’s policies and best practices.

Editor in Chief

Digital Medicine and Healthcare Technology is led by Editor in Chief Pier Paolo Piccaluga, University of Bologna, Italy and runs a single-blind peer review process.

Abstracting, Indexing & Archiving

The journal will apply for listing in all relevant databases once a minimum threshold of articles have been published or a specific timeframe of publishing has been achieved, Please note that for some databases this can be two years.

These include (but are not limited to): Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, MEDLINE, DOAJ, Google Scholar.

All IntechOpen Journal articles are archived in CLOCKSS.
